Knowmads started the way many good ideas do— over a long Sunday brunch. A few of us parents were talking about the ups and downs of family life in Bali and how often we wished there was one simple place to find trusted, practical info.

So we decided to create it.

What began as a casual idea quickly turned into something much bigger. We realized that the tips we were collecting—schools, hidden beaches, rainy day plans, visa processes, where to give birth—weren't just helpful for parents, but for anyone living, moving to, or visiting Bali.

We're parents living in Bali who've been through it all—births, visas, tantrums, and school runs. That's why we created Knowmads Bali: a curated platform full of tried-and-tested resources for families at every stage of the journey. No noise, just what's real and helpful.
